1. Age: 30. I'm old. just don't tell anyone.
2. Height: 5' 5"
3. Weight Today (or the last time you weighed): 219.4 pounds
4. Your current "widely accepted" clothing size (as in by regular retail standards): 14/16 sometimes 18 on top, 18/20 on bottom.
5. How much you'd like to lose (no timeframes please): Ultimately ... 54.4 more pounds. I weighed 241.8 pounds at a doctor's visit in January and FREAKED out, so I had started the process before, just lost focus with the surgery and the dating and the wedding and all. I'd only gotten down to 215 ish, so I'm still within 5 pounds of my low weight this year, which makes me happy, all things considered.
6. Your plan: Eat better. Plan to eat more veggies, some lean meats, and less starchy/simple carbs and sugar. I eat too much chocolate. And mexican and/or italian food. And cheese and fast food and fries and tots. although, not so much cheese since I started dating Mr. LI. Yeah, I like junk food ... and slushies at sonic. wait. what was I talking about again? Oh, right, the plan to do better than I've been doing ... *sigh* I also plan to exercise more (5-6 days a week) and shake up the exercise I am doing by adding back in Tae Bo and other such stuff. I have this really hot Tongan moving in my house ... and he's in a body building competition, trying to get hotter(!), so hopefully we can encourage each other, too. Even though my man loves me and thinks I'm beautiful and sexy and all that, I wanna be hotter for him, too.
7. What's been holding you back so far: Dude. I just had open heart surgery and was starting to get sick before that, so I couldn't exercise for a while. I'm getting married next week ... my whole family was here during July and bought us lots of bad groceries (brownies, ice cream, cookies, JUNK FOOD, which I don't buy in mass quantities like they did!) yeah, loads of reasons why I haven't been doing what I'm s'posed to lately. Prior to all that, I let bad relationships and bad situations control how I ate and how I felt about myself. Not anymore. :) I have an IUD now and the hormones might make the process slower, but at least I won't get pregnant before it's planned and I can always just focus on the health aspect and not the weight loss aspect if things aren't going the way I'd like 'cuz of hormones.
