Methods: I discovered that when I am eating alone that if I read I take SO much more time to eat and feel fuller sooner. Happy me! Tonight I tried something else, chewing until the food particles are really small. The result? Full really fast. . .well sooner than scarfing your food.
Efforts: On Saturday I started my "Un-Lazy" exercise. This means that I don't count shelving and shifting books at work, which is a work out but I would normally do it anyway. I went to the gym and did the elliptical trainer and rowing machine for 30 minutes. Of course I skipped Sunday but come Monday after work I went again. Then Tuesday class. Then today after work. . .so there you have it. Every day so far. . .I hope to continue. . .no, I'm going to continue!

Very true. Pretty much anything that lets me take my time (and give my brain and stomach time to communicate when we are FULL) helps me eat less. Reading or typing. Hee hee!
that doesn't work for me... I tend to find that I just start to mindlessly eat...
I'm the same way, cc. I've actually been eating breakfast and lunch at my desk still, though, but making smaller portions and trying to pay attention to "satisfied" nudges instead of eating until I'm sick. lol.
BUT, I'm glad you found something that works for you cupcake! and kip! :)
(as a side note, I'm down another pound or so ... and haven't taken the time to work out once this week. oops)
But kudos to you stewie, some times just making an adjustment to how much you eat works!
:) Thanks cupcake.
