My people! Last time I weighed myself I was under 250. I don't weigh myself too much because muscle weighs more than fat. So I mostly go by how my clothes fit. And those short I squoze into all summer long I can now pull on w/o even unbuttoning them :)
Hey, it works for me! I think my biggest struggle is just starting. You've heard "begin, the rest is easy?" So it is with me. Some days the fatigue from this auto immune thing just over powers me and I am toooooooooo tired or sore to do anything. So I don't do anything. Other days I'm going none stop. Although those days are fun, I pay for them by morning's light. My biggest weight loss success? STRESS! When stress comes it takes my appetite away for days. Case in point, I had a situation go down last month and have lost about 15 lbs in 20 weeks. I'm lookin good I must say.
I don't want to be thin. I love my veluptuous curves and swerves. I grew up with the saying... "no body likes a bone, cept a dog!" And I stand by that. I could stand to lose some fat. "Move over bacon, here come something more meatier!" But there will always be something to grab onto on me and I'm ok with that.
Anyway, Here's to losing "unhealthy habits!" Here's to losing Losers who make us feel bad about our selves. Here's to losing low self esteem! Here's to finding ourselves by losing ourselves! Here's to US!
